  1. Hi everyone! I will be having my band removed and sleeved on May 20th in Dallas, Tx! I'm so ready for this band to be out and start back on my weight loss journey!
  2. I'm having mine May 20th at the microsurgery institute in Dallas. My insurance is paying for the removal of the band only at the out of network cost.
  3. Hi I'm Emma I've been an RN for 6 yrs CNA for 3 yrs. I have experience in ICU, ER, Supervision, and now I'm an educator for an LPN program. I had the Lap Band done while in nursing school and was very successful lost 120#. After the birth of my son I began having issues and now I'm having it removed and a sleeve done. Insurance approved the removal at the out of network cost dt me choosing to have the sx in Dallas, TX instead of an Arkansas based surgeons. I have to cover the sleeve portion. I'm really nervous to be doing this again but excited to be back to my skinny size and healthy for my son! Glad to see there are other nurses out there going thru something similar!
  4. Im new to the forum. I had a successful lap band 7 yrs ago and lost over 120 lbs but soon after I had my baby I began having problems with my band. It has slipped and needs to be removed. I'm looking at doing the VSG this time. I paid cash for my band and will probably be doing the same with the VSG, but was wondering if anyone has had any luck with qualchoice paying for VSG?
