hiccup in the process

While doing all the pre op appointments etc. And EGD, they have found a precancerous polyp on my esophagus that needs to be removed and can't be done locally. I'm so confused and lost. Anyone else have an issue like this and how did it turn out?

My 1st END showed polyps in my stomach, which had to be removed. I had a total of 15 removed. It will be a hiccup in the process, and it added several months to my timeframe ( for removal, recovery & recheck) BUT, I'm able to move forward with surgery tomorrow knowing my insides will be able to fully support my new life!! Good Luck!
