How long FMLA process takes?

I was wondering how long it took you guys for your FMLA process took..is 2wks notice to let job know I'm having surgery. .thanks in advance for the replies.

    Hi. I gave my job 3 weeks notice (right after I was approved and got my time off letter from my doctor) . My job was really accommodating.

    Ok, thanks..I just want to have the surgery as soon as they can schedule me. Really nervous about having surgery.
