My surgery was on March 11, 2014. The sleeve was wonderful but during surgery my esophagus tore. I spent five days in the hospital with no water or food to drink strictly IV fluids. Tomorrow will be exactly one week after surgery and I have only lost 1 pound. Is this normal should I be losing more weight? I would have thought I would have lost more since I was not eating or drinking anything for five days. Can being on IV fluids and antibiotics around-the-clock call a stall at the beginning? Please enlighten me with your stories and advice I could really use the encouragement.......
