I never really feel full.

Hello everyone!

This is my first post, been reading alot of yours. I was sleeved on 3/6. My recovery was perfect, stop taking pain meds after 4 days. No problems. I'm on on puree phase and just don't really feel full and seem to be hungry all the time. I thought after liquid stage I would feel full, but I can eat 8 oz with no problem. I may eat to fast and was wondering is there something I can so to feel full or I just have to wait. Yesterday I felt full, told them that on my checkup, today not so full. Help Me, please.

Do you take an acid reducer? I know when i didn't take it the first few days after surgery i felt "hunger." And as far as never feeling full, me either. I lose interest in whatever I'm eating just before I feel full. I'm thankful for it, as feeling full seems to be worse than before surgery. I do find that I feel hungry every 3-3-4 hours. But a small snack or drinking something makes it go away.

My husband had this problem after surgery and the surgeon told him that he would feel full when he got to more solid foods. The solid foods are more detectable in the pouch. We have noticed that he has always been able to eat more than I can. We just think my stomach is smaller than his ever was.

Yes, I have taken my acid reducer everyday. I did finally read frequently asked? They said even one puree don't worry it will come. I just don't want to over eat. So I will measure, measure, measure. And I hope I don't have a large stomach! Lol
