I would go see your family doctor if your bariatric office has yet to call you back. Tis isn't normal. I did have an allergy/cold shortly after surgery but my husband and kids were both sick.

My husband had this problem after surgery and the surgeon told him that he would feel full when he got to more solid foods. The solid foods are more detectable in the pouch. We have noticed that he has always been able to eat more than I can. We just think my stomach is smaller than his ever was.
