Restriction?

I was sleeved on February 27, so I'm a little over 2 weeks out. I started on soft foods and I'm following the guidelines my nutritionist gave me of only doing 1/2 cup but I don't feel the restriction people have talked about. I get all my fluids in no problem and can drink my protein shakes. I'm really worried that this surgery didn't work. I mean, I'm not hungry and I'm just eating to follow my orders, but if I don't feel full, how am I supposed to be successful? I'm really scared this was a waste of time. Is this normal?

When you start getting solids in you, you will feel the restriction.

I feel the same way. I was put on soft food (1/4 cup) 1 week out. I stop at 1/4 cup but I am also worried because I do not feel any restriction either.

Don't worry, this is normal. I am 3 weeks out and on soft foods and just starting to feel restriction. Just keep measuring your food and you will do great. Your nerves in your stomach are still healing.
