Stomach swelling

I'm 3 .5 weeks post op and am having problems with buttoning my pants. They fit super lose in thighs and hips, but tight around waist. Does anyone else have this problem? Or do I have a Mrs Potato head body with skinny limbs?

I had the same problem for about 5 weeks and pants actually hurt because I felt swollen. I wore yoga pants because nothing else felt okay. My doc said all was okay with me. I am now 8 weeks out and it has gone away. My pants size has gone down and my middle has stopped being swollen. Good luck!

Even though I was losing weight my size remained the same for a long time. It was 40lbs before I went down a pants size. Then I went down 3 pants sizes in 2 months! It's a strange journey. Enjoy the ride
