Offically Post-Opt

Had my surgery @ 8:30 this morning. Woke up in bad pain but once controlled it's been smooth sailings! Very little gas in the chest which walking took care of. Two nurses already mention they can't believe how good I'm doing. Me either! That being said this is still the first day. I've read that the real horror/pain starts the next day. Time will tell. Now I will TRY to get some rest. I'm very drowsy but sleep comes for 15 to 30 mins top.

That's great congrats! I was worried about the 2nd day being bad, since my 1st day went very well, but it only got better each day. 9 days out now and no pain whatsoever. My tummy gives me a little reminder if I attempt to bend over to grab something or if I cough/sneeze too hard though ;)

Thanks! The only discomfort I have is when I sip. I feel slightly nauseous but it's minor n brief.
