I would not at all drink wine so soon after surgery. (I'm assuming you are banded.) If you venture into the "graves" e.g., Bordeaux, St Emilion, Medoc.Nuits St Georges...anything rich in tannic acid

This is probably such a ridiculous question. But. I was invited to a wine tasting. I'm three weeks post op. I was going to call my surgeon in the morning and figured I'd come here first. Is there any reason I shouldn't have wine now? I've moved on to mashies and have tolerated them well. Should I stay away to be safe?
