Hey guys! I'm Chelsea, I'm 22, and had gastric bypass on march 3. I'm a nurse, and this surgery is muuch more taxing than I anticipated. So, let's all help each other out with support!

Good Luck to you. I'm 58 and mine is the 24th. I don't see a whole lot of baby boomers on here!! Please keep us posted on your surgery.

I had food today!! Cottage cheese, mashed potatoes and yogurt!! It was amazing!! Everything went down great! Except...my instant potatoes will NOT be made with lactaid ever again. My body hates that stuff!

Hey guys!

How is everyone doing???

I'm down 20lbs and have hit a stall :(

I'm hoping it will pass soon cause it's quite depressing! Started walking faster and longer trying to get some exercise. My

Biggest problem is head hunger- I feel "hungry" all the time. Even though I'm really not. I must have been more of an emotional eater than I thought!

Not giving up tho! Keeping going and staying strong.

Excited to be joining you losers on Monday!!! Lol

Hi everyone! My name is Becky, I'm 33, from PA and had RNY surgery on the 13th. I'm doing pretty good with everything except the liquid diet. I've been on it for 3 weeks and the protein shakes and broth make me want to vomit. I can't take it anymore. I've tried a million different combinations of flavors and freezing them as popsicles, no luck. I just want to taste food. I'm allowed to eat yogurt and pudding but even those are starting to get to me. I'm hoping next Tuesday at my post-op appointment that I'm allowed to switch to the pureed stage. On the plus side, I'm down 14lbs since surgery! Woo hoo!! Glad you all are doing well and I'm excited for this journey and being able to connect with others going through the same thing :)
