Iron

Hey everyone I have a question... Has your iron supplement drastically changed your bowel movements? I already struggle with occasional constipation since surgery so I have been really nervous about taking my iron because I know this is a side effect. I am 16 days post op and I bought a bariatric chewable iron supplement but just nervous about it !

In general, iron does contribute to constipation. I've been on prescription iron for years without issue. You might want to add in a stool softener.
