It is scary to do such a life changing thing. I think you will find that once you start seeing results that it is enough to keep you on track. I am five weeks post surgery and starting to feel a lot more confident about the future. You will lose weight! Have faith in yourself, do what your doctor tells you, and lean on those close to you for moral support. It is normal to be scared of the unknown, but don't let it keep you from doing what is best for yourself. You can do it!

I'm in so jersey too! It's the ones who say "I got this, I ain't skerd" that I see fail. Don't bat your self up. You'll do fine!

I too am a bit over 5 weeks post-op, and YES it is very scary. Once it is all done you will be okay and be looking forward to the new you. Good Luck!
