  8. In my case I was 360lbs at 6'2" and my wife was 145lbs at 5'11" when we met 20yrs ago, I was 440lbs at surgery. I'm now 210lbs and she has expressed that she is no longer sexually attracted to me because she likes big guy's. I am at a loss for words...
  9. Something with IRON, we have trouble pulling it from food
  10. I was fatigued for a few months, my surgeon said it was due to my body struggling with not understanding it's new way of life and recovery from the trauma is surgery. Just get as much protein as you can in and don't move through the stages to quickly, I had complications from progressing to quickly.

  12. I probably eat 6-8 slices per month, for me it was more then a year after my gastric bypass, but I had complications and went 180 days without food! Only protein shakes!

  14. 7 days after my surgery I lost 2 units of blood in my sleep, 6mo later I finally had the strength to walk to the mail box. It was the worst 6-7mo of my life... No I wouldn't go back if I could. It gets better.

  19. My wife has had 3 emotional affaires in our 19yrs together, I've never considered cheating I assume because as a fat man I never had the confidence to pursue women. She is a self proclaimed "chubby chaser" and her latest emotional affair was because "I'm not sexually attracted to you as a skinny guy" her words... I said "Ok I give up, I've given you 20yrs and gave up food so I could take care of you for another 40yrs, decide what you want" "if this guy that works at the piggly wiggly in Alabama is so wonderful then pack yo sht and go! But our son stays here in jersey with all his family!" I never stood up for myself like that before to her and now she is always all over me, my biggest question is why are some women attracted to dicks, apparently I have to be a edgy jerk for her to want me... WTH
  20. My surgeon assured me that with my RNY it is reversible (he leaves the amputated portions of the stomach & intestine in the abdomen). He does this for the sole reason of needing to meet calorie requirements for battling cancer should it arise.

  22. I'm in so jersey too! It's the ones who say "I got this, I ain't skerd" that I see fail. Don't bat your self up. You'll do fine!
  23.    Frank Tardiff reacted to a post in a topic: Constant burping?
  24. Small sips, no straws, to keep the air out, since my RNY I can no longer participate in the manly art of long draw out burps. ;0( lol only little dinky burps that let me know I'm consuming to fast. Good luck. :0) 8/24/2009 440lbs Today 210lbs and holding
  25. Hubba Hubba look at all you hotties!!!
  26. This is ridiculous and petty, clearly GastricBypassNY was using a term that sounded racist because Stop & Frisk being performed by the police in New York is racist.
  27. Presurgery I was 440 pounds now I'm 210 pounds. Seven days after my surgery I had an upper G.I. bleed and bled out in my sleep, somehow I woke up after losing two units of blood. People still ask me "Frank would you do it all over again I mean you almost died from the surgery" Yes yes I would in a heartbeat, for three years I confined to the house with leg paralysis due to spinal stenosis. I would've really been dead in a few years, and now I don't even need back surgery, my rheumatologist is baffled at how the Calcium buildup in my spine receded and four years later shows no signs of regrowth. We are all selfish like your mom in some way shape or form, in the end she's your mom, forgive.

  29. This may sound weird but I use GNC unflavored 2scoops 1 packet of crystal light raspberry lemonade 1 quart of Water I've had it almost every day for four years and haven't gotten tired of it Also add a teaspoon of unflavored in Soups and other liquids, sneak it in, it makes a difference.
