HELP! Anyone out there?

Hi! Just curious to know.....I am 4 days post op and I have had multiple BM :) each day (liquid of course, liquid in liquid out)! HELP! Is this normal? I will call Dr on Monday but just wondering if anyone else out there has had this problem......:help:

Yes, it's normal!!

Congratulations on getting banded, and welcome to LBT. What you're experiencing is just your way of the body ridding itself of the anaesthesia and all the other stuff you were subjected to during surgery. Not to worry. You may very well have diarrhea for a while until you get on to full liquids and mushy foods, but don't worry. You're fine!!

I was banded 3/19. I was that way and it would stop and then start up again. I began an investigation to see why it would come and go by really paying close attention to what I drank and when it would hit. I found when I drank chicken boulion it would hit about 30 minutes later. The solution was easy, eliminate that from my diet. I was so excited to day to have a bm with some shape to it. It really will happen.
