Almost there!

Just joined Bariatric Pal today! I went through the whole process a year ago to get the Gastric Sleeve done and got declined because my insurance didn't cover the surgery.

I got new insurance and decided to try again a year later since it was covered. I've done the classes, psych, nutritional appointment and all my other doc appointments. Everything you need to send your packet to insurance, I've done. I am supposed to here from insurance This week about approval for surgery, I'm very excited and anxious at the same time. I'm still exploring how this Bariatric pal works but I've been really enjoying reading everyone's point of views with the gastric surgeries. I know I'm making the right choice for me :) fingers crossed*

Let me be the first to yell.............

Welcome, welcome, welcome :)

always room for one more smiling face :)

i can see B) that you are a smart cookie :)

making the wise decision to be sleeved

glad your insurance finally "smartend" up to accept sleeve surgery

hope you do get the good word sooner than later that you've been accepted :)

my fingers and toes are all crossed for you :)

everyone is really nice here except (you know who you are  )

the final word answer to certain "serious" questions/medical advice should always be from your doc or NUT (nutritionalist)

ask your many questions here on the board about pre-op - and following surgery situations too!!!!

we love hearing those great new questions from newbies like you ;)

especially about eating 4 slices of pizza

private joke that you will hear about as you become further along with your surgery ;)

good luck

take care
