Pre-op diet blues

Just started my pre op liquid diet Feb. 23rd and I have my surgery this Monday (3/3). My thing is that this diet makes me want to die. It's a 600 cal diet and I feel like the diet along with the stress of my surgery has made me panic. Honestly I cheated today, but not before laying in bed for 4 hours thinking about food. I got 4 days left, and I know "if you can stay with the diet what makes you think you can handle after surgery?" I'm gonna start over tomorrow and make sure that I can't cheat anymore. (Basically sequestering myself).

I guess what I'm saying is, has anyone else have had this problem? I'm just really worried, I worked really hard getting all my clearances and against the resistance of my pcp. I feel like an addict, thinking I'm never going to eat what I like ever again. Words of encouragement are welcomed :)

I also dropped 10 pant sizes, it's pretty crazy. My hunger is a head game for me, my stomach isn't hungry but my head is. So I have to tell myself that I don't need this/that. I graze to, but it's a journey though, I'm not going to beat myself up over it.

Day one of my two week liquid preop diet. It was a constant struggle. I had to prepare food for my sons. The hardest thing on earth. Afterwards I had broth a hot bath and climbed in bed. I've been in my room as to not be tempted. I know this process is necessary, as hard as it is so I'm going to push through it.
