New Direction shakes

Is anyone using the New Direction shakes? I can't get these to blend properly no matter what I do to them. I am drinking chunky hot chocolate. Day 3 and I am more frustrated by this than not eating! This was an expensive liquid diet promoted by my hospital and yet the shakes are awful.

I hope that you did not invest too much money into these shakes. I always tell people that I see/meet to get samples. You are going to have to live off of this stuff for awhile so you want to make sure that you can tolerate it right? Spend a few dollars and go with powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury or Syntrax nectar (not their juices)

I paid $145 for 7 boxes of 7 packets. The taste is not bad, except for strawberry, but nothing mixes well. I was told that was what I had to use and buy at the hospital. I was not given other options. A little disappointed to see others are not using this particular brand.

Try premier shakes already mixed and taste great esp chocolate, hear they now have strawberry can't wait to try it.

I like the new direction pudding and shakes . For the hot chocolate ..if it gets too hot it coagulates . So you can't have it too hot. Do u have a blender to blend the shake to smooth it out Try the chocolate pudding., it is my fave.
