  1. I am scheduled for next Thursday as well. I think it is last minute nerves and all the people sharing the horror stories. Read through and find the positive ones. It helps! Best of luck on becoming a "loser" too.

  3. I paid $145 for 7 boxes of 7 packets. The taste is not bad, except for strawberry, but nothing mixes well. I was told that was what I had to use and buy at the hospital. I was not given other options. A little disappointed to see others are not using this particular brand.
  4. Is anyone using the New Direction shakes? I can't get these to blend properly no matter what I do to them. I am drinking chunky hot chocolate. Day 3 and I am more frustrated by this than not eating! This was an expensive liquid diet promoted by my hospital and yet the shakes are awful.

  9. 25 days to go!!! Looking forward to new beginnings. Glad I found this board. You are all so helpful. Helps ease the anxiety.
  10. My name is Gin and I am having sleeve surgery on March 13, 2014. I am from New England. I work as a receptionist in a veterinary hospital. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I love the Red Sox and Las Vegas. The main reason I turned to this surgery is that at 58 years old, I now have sleep apnea, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and borderline diabetic.
