2nd fill

I just had my second fill. Im down 42lbs since being banded on December 10, 13. Im now at 6.5cc. I go back in a month. I think that this maybe my comfort zone. I will find out how well it works for me next month, but all in all I'm enjoying the new me:-)

Well I'm jealous. I only lost 12 lbs the first 2 weeks and then nothing for the next 3.5 weeks. But, then it all came together and I've lost 50.

Congrats!

Wow! you are doing fantastic! I was like tmf, I lost very little right after surgery, which was Nov 2009, then buy spring, I was swimming in my clothes! Best wishes on your 2nd fill! Karen

It takes our bodies a bit of time after the surgery trauma for the band to work. You heal for a very long time and your stomach slowly adapts to this device around it. Just follow your doctors directions on what to eat and introduce more Protein into your diet. The weight loss was slow at first for me, then it just happened.

Best wishes and Keep the Faith.
