Sorry can't help with that, my only swallowing issue was sore throat from vent.

Well even I am facing the same problem! I am 10 weeks post op! I spoke to my doctor about this and he said its just bcoz of gas or acidiry. And he adviced me to take anta acid tablets.

That was me with room temp or cold stuff felt like little sharp stones hitting my stomach!
Its common drink warm/hot drinks like tea etc
Its why I now drink a hell of a lot of hot decaf tea because it was horrible!
