Driving to hospital so ready for this change

Praying you all do extremely well. Let us know how you do.

Well, I am up and getting ready for today. My surgery was moved up to 11:30 eek. Praying for those scheduled for today as well.

That's awesome. Less time to be hungry and nervous.

I'm one day away from sitting on the LOSERS BENCH!! Liquid diet all day. Should be getting the call for surgery time soon. To all those taking that step to a better lifestyle Good luck today!

I just had the scariest thing happen. I'm 12 days post op and got up this morning to take a shower like I always do. This morning though I was standing in the shower and all of a sudden felt dizzy. I thought maybe it was because I had the bathroom door closed and if might have got to hot so I got out and opened it. But it got worse. I got out just in time to sit down on the toilet. The room started spinning and I saw black spots and felt really out of it... Has this happened to anyone else?

Yesterday I had that experience walking in Walmart. I either walked too much or wasn't drinking enough.

Mine does it when my heart rate goes up to high. Happens when I do to much or the shower gets to hot. And I am 13 days post op.

I had the same thing happen to me today at work. I am 6 days post op and today was my first day back at work. I was told I wasn't getting enough protein. I'm not supposed to go on full liquids till tomorrow but my doctor said it would be ok if I started tonight with a protein shake. My boss let me lay my head down at my desk for as long as I needed. I didn't think going back to work would take this much out of me.

Thank you ladies! It's a relief to know I wasn't alone

Ok been alittle over 24 hours since surgery. Finally got pain and nausea under control. Switched meds and now able to walk. I ended up with the gastric bypass and a hernia repair and another parcel hernia repair that will be fixed after I lose about 60 pounds. Biggest thing that has helped me was ice packs on stomach. I also felt so hot from the meds so cold rags on back of neck. Hope everyone is doing good. Just stay calm and it will pass.. Then we will be on new paths to get healthy and fulfill our dreams..
