Liquid Colace!

My doctor wants me to take liquid Colace daily to help with bowels and I feel as though I need it, but it tastes horrible! This terrible stuff burns my throat, leaves a nuclear waste taste on my toungue and makes me nauseated. The only times I've taken Zofran post op is after taking liquid Colace. Does anyone have suggestions? Different brands? Addititives? or should I just hold my nose and suck it up? Thanks for the replies.

Ahhhhh yes, see my post from a few days ago entitled, "Liquid Colace is the Devil!!". It's no joke. I am never having that again. Someone turned me on to Miralax which I have found effective since trying it.

Also, as I have started to get more active with walking since the pain is diminishing (10 days post op today), that has helped too.

Good luck and by all means throw your $17 bottle of colace into the pit!
