It could be absolutely nothing, it could be reflux...but if you are worried a visit to your PCM might be a good idea...they'll give you an ECG and rule out anything worrying.

I had this before surgery and for me it was part of my gastritis/reflux.

Definitely see your doc. Also, could be anxiety/panic attacks. I had so much anxiety, you can see in my charts in my appointments that the closer I got to surgery the higher my blood pressure went. And I did not have high bp before.

If you have any history of cardio vascular disease, chest pain should be treated as an emergency. Regardless of how subtle or severe the pain may be, treat it as an emergency. 911 and let the experts make the determination.
