  • Be patient, girl. Not even a week out. It likely isn't hunger pangs when you sip at this point. Your stomach was just cut, it's still swollen, tissues need to heal. The discomfort is post-op discom

I have the same exact problem. I'm hoping switching from clear liquids to full liquids this week helps. But jeesh! My stomach was cramping and spasming so much! It literally hurt!

Unfortunately......I am on full liquids & still get the same hunger pains...... my only time will end this! Let's try to stay positive!

This will end. I am 9 months out (almost) and I will feel as if I am starving after a few hours or a workout. A bite or two of heavy Protein will resolve this physically even if mentally I want more. Listen to your BODY not your head and you will do great. It's an adjustment, but one that once you are in tune to, you will be FINE.

After giving myself some full liquids, the spasms have subsided. I'm only just switched to full liquids this afternoon, and I already notice a difference.

As well as I began taking liquid Multivitamins when I came home from my follow up appointment, too. I think they helped as well.
