anyone told to get a compression garment?

I was advised to get a compression garment a cream with copper. Has anyone heard of this and if so where and what did you get. I'm still in the getting approved stage so have some time. Will finish diet coach phone calls in march so fill file ins then for approval.

My surgeon had me in a compression wrap around my waist after surgery. I googled compression garments and there are some with copper. Could that be what they're talking about?

Some people are advised to use one and some not. It depends on the doc. Many people have said when you use one it feels better when you're upright or walking. Maybe it helps prevent incisional hernias? My doc didn't recommend one and I had no problems. Do whatever YOUR doc recommends.

My hospital provides one. I love having it on as it makes me feel more secure and less pain when moving and even sleeping!

I was provided one by my surgeon and it was very helpful in recovery.

I didn't wear anything after surgery. I did start wearing compression gear when I started working out and running.
