One week to go

Hi

I am due to have my band fitted on 3rd April - in Belgium. I am so excited yet nervous (spending so much time on this site!!) Hoping to shed around 60lbs and have given myself a goal of 1 year, in 15lb increments - is that reasonable???

Would love to get support from anyone who's out there!!

Speak soon!

Welcome to LBT and congrats on your surgery date. I don't know how much weight you have to lose all together and everyone is different, but yes 60 pounds should be reasonable. But, ever 40 or 50 is a lot too! Good Luck!

I am at 200lbs now and stand 5'4'' so even losing 60lbs leaves me as overweight in reality - but I think 140 would be a dream come true!

My best friend is also being banded on the same day so we'll take every step together - my band is a 40th birthday gift to myself, I couldn't think of anything better to give myself than a whole new future!!
