Stuck

Well, as of today, I am 1 month out after surgery and I have found my FIRST food that I cannot tolerate....TRISCUIT CRACKERS! I need the fiber so I would eat a serving with meds in the evening...well, the 2 times I have done this, they got stuck and it HURT!!! I tries to drink water and it wouldn't go down...I couldn't burp...it really kind of freaks you out!! So as I am standing over the porcelain thrown, I feel it move on down and now I have major hiccups!!! Grrrrr...

  • uh oh, no more triscuits for you! Being stuck is no fun, that's for sure!! I usually eat apples to get extra fiber. I peel one, slice into small pieces, put a dash of cinnamon and microwave in

  • AMEN!!! However, onward and DOWNward!! ????????????????????

I eat almond nut thins with sea salt. They are gluten free made from almonds and rice. Serving size is 17 crackers. I have never had them get stuck. You should try them.

Blue Diamond. Yummy.

Mmmmm guacamole.... I'm craving that now. Lol

They crunch like a tortilla chip but are gluten free and not that gmo corn crap! I love them!

I've always heard horror stories about breads, crackers and pasta post-op so I'm thinking I'll wait until at least 6-months post-op before I even try them.
