Hello to both of you. I was sleeved 11/18. Doing fantastic. Share your information because every time you burp LOL you will be looking on this forum for help and guidance. I will share that I feel the sleeve was so much easier than I expected, and I have the energy to get up and go anywhere I please again. I went grocery shopping 4 days after surgery. I have not slowed since. Everything will be better! Good luck!

Thanks Linda.... You are awesome..

My date is the 11th also! Scared and excited but ready for this new beginning!

:D High Five :D that is my date too! Scheduled for 11:30 AM. I've even done far better on the 10 day pre-op diet that I figured I would.

I had an experience today at work that took away any possible doubt (not that there really was any) about having surgery. I went to meet the temp who will be helping out during my absence and to bring her back to our department. She is truly as big around as she is tall and she had to stop four times to catch her breath. I was thinking I'd be training a new temp tomorrow because there is no way she will want to work here for two weeks if she has to walk that distance twice a day. I really need to be thankful I am working where I have the insurance to cover this and that they offer the paid time off as well. Truly a "there but for the Grace of God, go I" moment for me.
