starting to get cold feet

My surgery is Monday and im starting to panic!!! Im scared of the surgery itself plus the fear of not getting enough water and protein.....I don't want my nerves get the best of me and have me back out....I've wanted this surgery for so long and worked so hard to get to this point to have my own fear make me back out at the last minute.....did anyone else feel like this right before surgery? ???

My surgery is Monday as well. I had my pre-admit appointment at the hospital today but I'm not getting cold feet. I am so ready for this to happen. I'm tired of being fat. Tired of having to pay extra

I'm in the same boat as you guys-surgery is on March 3rd. I'm excited, scared and nervous all at the same time!! I wouldn't say I'm having second thoughts, just want it to be here already so I can start recovering.

Today is the day my husband keeps asking me if im sure I want to do this and it will be ok if I don't go I told him im doing this im ready

I never allowed myself to second guess cuz I would probably have done the same thing. I made up my mind and did it. Smiling the entire time knowing I was eventually not going to be fat anymore.

Oh.... Good Luck today. You will do fine! Think all positive thoughts. You got this!!!! :D

Good luck!!! The first few days or even the first week or two can be tough as you adjust to the restriction, especially with your swollen tummy. But it will pass! In time you and your tummy will adjust, and you'll soon discover the new, healthier you! I had tons of trouble getting fluid in, but those sugar free Popsicles were my life line. Keep us posted!

I was starting to think what did I get myself into but its worth it....I still have trouble getting up and sitting down because he cut into my stomach muscle but its getting easier!

Do you notice on of your incisions hurts more?? Its the one where they pull your stomach out of. They do must of the 'work' at one incision site. My doctor used just steri strips on all the puncture sites but the bigger one (the aforementioned one) he put a couple dissolvable stitches in. That one bugs me the most. If you have adhesive tape marks lil nail polish remover will get rid of that.. the acetone will melt it off you. My belly is so itchy from the incisions healing.

Yeah it the big one that's bothering me...... altogether I have 5 incisions the other 4 are starting to itch and the band they have me wearing isn't making it any better lol
