You're emotion are all normal. Please try not to worry or work yourself up, you will check in, get prepared for surgery and before you know it, will be in recovery. It goes by so quick it will feel like 20 minutes nurses talking to you and giving watered sponges for your dry lips(brung your favorite Chapstick w/you). Hope you can get some rest tonight. Positive energy and prayers are with you. Looking forward to hearing your progress. : )

PS

I'm going on 10 wks post-op

Thinking of your today - I know it will go well and it will be a new life for you. Just remember, every day gets better!

Best of luck to you! What an exciting time!

I agree with Christian above - walking is the best medicine post-op. It helps get rid of the gas and you will recovery easier.

Let us know how you're doing!
