March 10th Here I'm having revision from LapBand to sleeve. Dee

I'm having my revision on March 11th. I was scheduled originally for December, and got cold feet. I've had some time now to better mentally prepare. This board has helped so much with putting things in perspective. My fears are bleeding and leaking. But I trust in God, my surgeon, and positive thinking.

KajunGumbo- did your surgeon mention anything about using bigger staples for the scar tissue the band may have created?

No he didn't, I have fears as well, so many things can go wrong during & after any surgery. I worry that I am risking so much for a second time. I think fear is normal & for good reasons.

I'm on March 20th.. I can't wait to get this all started.!

There are 2 March threads so I combined everyone from both on to one list by surgery date. I would love so much to keep in touch with everyone as we go through our journeys. !

If I have forgotten anyone or need corrections please feel free to copy/paste. Oh wouldn't it be nice to have a catchy name for our little group? Any Ideas?

Hello

Please add me to your list. Hopefully got a date for 31st March.

March Tortoises... as in "slow and steady wins the race". I don't want to be a mad March hare!

Proud to be a tortoise and take it one slow step forwards at a time and win this battle once and for all.

Add me please! March 20th!
