Stopping Lisinop/HCTZ

So I am really excited I have stopped taking a blood pressure medicine, but it seems like I'm gaining weight!

The medicine is a diuretic so I assume it's Water weight.

Who else experienced this?

    I stopped my HCTZ day of surgery. I steadily lost weight until 5 weeks in and then I actually gained weight. Ive lost that gain and 6 more so I don't really think it was the HCTZ.
