Hairloss! ????????

So I am almost 11 months out and I have experienced hair loss! I've heard that you may lose a little but I expected it to be sooner and not months down the road. For those of you who have experienced this already does it grow back? And what are some things you've tried to help your hair grow back healthier? Seems I've tried everything and I've noticed this past weekend it had got much worst one side is really thin and the other thick also its hard to retain length. So hoping some of you can share your experiences

Yes! Thats when I noticed mine after my surgery my hair was really healthy so I didn't think that it would get to the point it is now. I'm afraid to do anything at all to it but I do hope we both find

I'm losing hair - it's horrifying! My doc said to take Biotin and Folate - some docs say there's nothing that will prevent the loss, but I'm throwing everything again the wall to see what sticks!

I'm sorry I can't be of much help, I'm awaiting to see what some others have to say about this, because just last week I noticed my hair starting to fall out, and even though I knew it was going to happen, it's very alarming and scary every time you brush you hair, to see more and more strands falling out. I'm 3 months post op.

Yes! Thats when I noticed mine after my surgery my hair was really healthy so I didn't think that it would get to the point it is now. I'm afraid to do anything at all to it but I do hope we both find a solution soon that both helps us because losing your hair as a woman kind of does something to you I know it does for me I've been trying not to stress too much about it and focus more on my weight loss but its been tough

My Iron level was low and my hair loss was pretty significant. I started to take an iron supplement in addition to my multi Vitamin and within a month the hairloss slowed down a lot. Have you ahd labs done recently? Might be worth looking into.

My doc said to take Biotin and Folate - some docs say there's nothing that will prevent the loss, but I'm throwing everything again the wall to see what sticks! I'm also using Nioxin.

My doc also said whatever you lose due to the surgery will grow back...I'm patiently waiting! OK, I'm not patient!

Apparently ursodiol? - it was a med that I was prescribed post op, it has a side effect of hair loss. Not sure if you're taking that or not but to could be the culprit.

I'm 3 months out and am losing quite a bit. What's so bad about it is I had just started getting thick hair and growing hair before the surgery. Now all my hard work is daily going down the drain. I'm taking 3000mcg of biotin sublingual and my vitamins . I don't know what to do.

My hair loss also started right at the 3-month mark, a couple of weeks ago. I'm really nervous about how long it will continue; I've heard it lasts til about 6 months post-op.
