Heartburn

Ever since I started mushies (done in 2 days) I've been having really bad heart burn after I eat. Is this something I should call my doctor about or should I just take some tums and call it a day? It's not THAT painful just more annoying than anything.

I was prescribed Prevacid for 30 days post op and I ocassionally still take tbe OTC ones. It may not be too uncomfortable but it can cause damage to your esophagus over time. Call your surgeon, better safe than sorry.

I had heartburn from day one. Surgery date 9-10-13. I tried OTC Prevacid then asked for and received a scrip. None since and I take it every day at 6 am. Last week I forgot to load it in my pill container and by day two I was uncomfortable and was able to figure out why.
