Why is it that you have to wait so long in between fills? I see some people have waited months.

Most surgeons want you to heal 4-8 weeks before you get a first fill. After that, there is no rule. Some people get restriction after one fill and it lasts months. Others need to go several times before they are adequately restricted. It all depends on how booked up the fill appointments are, what your surgeon prefers, and how you are doing. I do know some people don't have a fill "kick-in" for a week or two so it's best to wait 2 weeks or more inbetween fills.

I had to wait 6 weeks for my first fill. Now they are only 2 weeks apart. Good luck.
