Coughed most of the day yesterday and I swear I feel like my rib is broken or I messed up something under my lower left rib..surgeon told me to go to er ASAP...scared

Keeping you in my thoughts. Hope it is just a muscle strain and nothing more. I had one when I had bronchitis a few years ago. Felt like a broken rib.

Hope that's all and not a busted gut..lol..it definitely hurts more while seated..I was supposed to start at planet fitness this am:-( hopefully this wont put a damper on my working out plans

I had the same thing at 2/3 weeks post op. But mine was on the right side under my ribs and it radiated to my back.

Turned out to be bruised rib. Also, I feel it when I haven't had much Water for the day or when I'm getting backed up.

Hope they figure it out and get you home soon!

It was a bruised section of my ribs..so weird ..I got some pain meds and a cough medicine..trying to stay off that side and get plenty fluids...so glad I didn't hurt my sleeve
