Save a pair of the biggest pants you have. You will want to take a pic stuffed into ONE leg for the Big Pants thread here after you lose all your excess weight! http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/2660

It is so nice to wear normal sizes. I started at. 26 and am down to a solid 18, 16s will be coming. Many of my tops were 4x.. Now an Xl fits a bit snug but not too bad.

I started at a 26/28 and 3X/4X back in June. I have just gotten into a size 16 jeans (but 18 is still OK, too) & an XL in tops is very comfortable. One of my issues has been not knowing how stuf

I really have no idea what size I wore pre-surgery. Yep, I was in denial! I literally shoved myself in my size 22 pants. Of course there was only one style that I could wear in size 22. Shirts...not sure of that size either. I was adamant that I would not outgrow a size 2X, but I did allow a few 3X in my wardrobe. Now that I have lost over 80 pounds, I still don't know my true size since I am wearing clothes that are too big (for a change). I recently purchased a pair of new pants..in size 16 (but they are stretchy) and my t-shirts fit appropriately with an XL.
How refreshing it is to wear clothes that actually fit, as well as many other perks. Although my weight loss has slowed down and I have given in to some holiday goodies, I am thankful that my sleeve is helping me along the way. As a mother of 5 and a teacher, I usually "do" for others...so glad that I did this for ME!
