I did get more too right after surgery. My doctor didn't believe me, he said maybe they were there already and I'm just noticing them. Ugh. Sorry, don't know what to do about that :-/

Hope someone else on here has some hints.

They are scars. You can't get rid of them. I bet they were there already but were stretched and now your skin is more loose because you have lost some weight so they are more obvious. You can get expensive creams and gels that probably don't work or you can just take care of your skin by keeping it in good shape and drinking your water and getting your vitamins. As you lose weight the stretch marks will fade and not be very noticeable. How many people see your stomach anyway? If they saw mine at 7+ months out they might want to claw their eyes out.
