January 1, 201412 yr I am going to Mexico amd having Dr. Alvarez do it. I can't wait till it is over, I am so stressed thinking about it I agree. I was sleeved by Dr Alvarez on Sept 27, 2013. I'm down 81 pounds. I feel great. Zero complications. Even though he is more expensive than others in Mexico he is top notch. My scars look great. I could not be happier.
January 1, 201412 yr My surgery is on 1/28/14. I am scared to death. I had the lapband removed in September and I am having a sleeve done. Lovely momma, I'm a revision too. I found the sleeve surgery much easier than my band and the port revisions I had. It was also easier than the band removal. The post and pre diet was not easy, but it does give some great results.
January 1, 201412 yr Thanks so much for the encouragement. I am glad to hear you experiences were good. It does make me less stressed. I do not have to do a pre op diet as I weight 177 right now. But the post op sounds tough. I am so looking forward to getting this done, everyday is a struggle not to put on more weight
January 1, 201412 yr Good luck to you all I had surgery in 1/28/13 I had a few complications but I love my sleeve now I'm almost 100 lbs down hope to be by the 28 th of next month

March 1, 201412 yr I had the surgery one month ago. I am just starting to feel stronger. I have been very tired and weak for the last month . Everything went well with the surgery. I have only lost 10 pounds this first month. I was hoping for more. I have 40 more pounds to go. I had a good experience with the surgery but with no follow up care it has been hard because I am not sure why I am so weak and sometimes shaky. I think i need some blood work done.

April 3, 201412 yr I am two months out now and I am just starting to feel better. I had a stricture and they stretched it two days ago and that helped. I am not as tired as I was but not all the way back to where I was.
