This is going to sound really silly, but I have "working hands" and stubby sausage fingers. Even after my mom got big, she maintained a delicacy to her hands and other features that I was always envious of. Now I'm wondering what my own hands might look like after I drop some weight.

Did you folks notice a big difference in your hands? Anyone have pictures?

I always had long slender fingers...but I was wearing a size 8-9 when I had this WLS..now I am a 5.5...Smaller then I was before I got married 36 years ago......I was a size 7 then.....

None of my rings fit me anymore...None of my wedding rings fit me anymore.....I am perplexed!

I can see a difference in my hands - I'm just over 4 weeks out.

My rings fit better than they did before. My husband commented that my fingers don't look like little sausages (in a nice way). :-)

The same way he told me my a$$ is getting smaller!!!! LOL. We've been together for 18 years - He is not romantic, he doesn't whisper sweet nothings in my ear, he's basically a big child and makes me laugh.

Mine have shrunk. My fingers look longer and thinner, but I don't have any pics. Someone said to me the other day, "Those don't even look like your hands anymore." The only problem is that they look much older.

I am 3 weeks out and I can already tell a difference in my rings, so I think they will shrink.

My hands are thinner. Was a size 8 ring, about 6.5 now. My feet went from tight 10 to 8.5 or 9.

My wedding ring finger went from a 7 to a 5.5 in 6 weeks. I can tell my hands and feet are slimmer (who the hell knew I had fat feet too?). Interestingly, my hands do not look older but I think I know why. When I decided to have this surgery my attitude toward myself changed. Before, I put hand cream on because they ached in dry climates and in the winter. I started paying a lot more attention to myself and even more after the weight started coming off. I do take daily fish oil now, but I also started going to Lush to get very nice moisturizers and bath bombs. I can tell a difference in my skin everywhere. And bonus! Most of the items are solids and not creams, which means they can come on the plane with me!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
