Hi My name is Chastity. I have not been banded, I am going to my first info meeting in 4 days. I have done a lot of search, and am very excited. I have been over weight my whole life and finally ready to make a real change. I did have a question. Can anyone tell me how many month before I would be able to get the band done? I am with Aetna Ins. and I had to go to a 3 month nutrition class, once a week and then they sent my info off to Aetna and it took about 30 days to be approved. That is just me it is different for other people. So all in all about 4 months for me.

Yeah it seens it is alittle different for everyone. I am going to be self pay, so I think it might go a little faster. Overall a lot faster than I would have ever thought.

I was self pay. Went to my first meeting, scheduled suergery, and got it done. No muss no fuss.
