Psych Evaluation

I'm starting my required doctor visits for my VSG and tomorrow is my 90 minute psych evaluation. I really have no idea what to expect. For some reason, I am very nervous about going for this. Any comments would greatly be appreciated.

Hey, Ms. Patty. My eval consisted of a 20 min convo with the doc and a 566 questionnaire. The doc was asking questions like, "y have u decided 2 have surgery", "have u had mental health issues in the past or currently", etc. It wasn't bad, just redundant. No need 2 worry. Hope this helps.

Hey Karice, thanks so much. I had my psych evaluation last night. Wasn't so bad. A lot of personal questions. He more or less wanted to know if I was ready for this and I definitely am. Then he gave me a 165 questions quiz. Did you have your surgery yet? I'm scheduled for 3/4/14.
