Surgery Monday, Took Laxative And Now Constipated!

I don't know what to do! I'm supposed to be cleaning out my bowels before surgery and it's just not happening. :( Can't get a hold of my doctors either because it's Saturday. Anyone know what to do???

What did you take? Some things you can take more if it doesn't work the first time, like Dulcolax or Colace...? Maybe MOM? Make sure you are drinking a lot of fluids for sure...

Take Milk of Magnesia; it will definitely work! Stay close to a restroom.
