I felt a little sore but not really that bad. I slept a lot the first night. I think the worst part for me was how dry my mouth was. My tongue felt like a piece of sandpaper in my mouth...LOL. I just kept sipping on Water ,eating ice cubes, a little mouth spray and a few bites of Jello seem to help. Everyday gets so much better I am about 4 days out now. I even went out shopping today To the GNC store ....I smelled lots of good smelling food out there but all I could do was keep thinking about how great I am going to feel at my daughters wedding June 3 in Maui! And how good it feels knowing that my clothes are going to get loser instead of tighter!!!! This operation is giving me a chance of a life I have always dreamed of...NO more Lane Bryant!!!!... Good luck to you Cupcake

I had my sleeve with Dr. Jacobs also, he is amazing!!! I really did not any any pain whatsoever only mild gas discomfort after surgery, when I woke up the following day I didn't feel any type of discomfort. Great experience. Good luck on your journey!
