I think there are some local forums and if you can find one for CT, you might get better responses there.

Did you have Dr. Raftopolous from St. Francis in Hartford?

I'm from CT and I had my surgery last week with Dr. Nadzam at Yale. I love him and his office staff! I did all my pre op requirements with a different surgeon then switched to him last minute for insurance reasons. They made it easy and it all worked out fine.

jill thanks for your post actually i am schedule for a seminar for yale on dec 16th talked to dr roberts office and I'm excited they will be taking my case after the other ordeal so hopefully ill be a yale patient soon and keep on moving :)

I'm 6 months post op. Not sure how I would rate my experience with him. The group is still there but not sure I want to stay there or try to follow him. Thinking I want to try someone new or no one at all. I really would like a good support group. I never went to St. Francis for theirs, since I'm over an hour away (live in northeast CT), and it was only for 45 min once a month.
