Oh god I cannot believe this! I went for dinner tonight to a Thai place with hubby and another couple who don't know about my surgery (I'm 6 months out) after a couple of mouthfuls of a rich starter and a few mouthfuls of the main and a watered down glass of wine I started to feel sick and I mean really sick. Then everything went dizzy and an urgent need for the toilet and then I actually passed out AT THE TABLE!!
I came round pretty quick but was swearing g profusely and had chest pains and thought I was a gonner right there and then. I was taken hime immediately and felt a lot better after getting some air and straight to bed but this is by far the worst dumping attack I've ever had (only had 1 before after eating some sweets at the cinema) and this was 100 times worse.
There must have been a hell of a lot of sugar in that Thai food ~ I've had meals out with the odd glass of wine before and this has never happened. I cannot begin to describe my embarrassment and now dread this happening again. Nightmare
