Bad Breath

Know people said after surgery that are breath is really bad. What has anyone found to help with that. I have always chewed gum, but that does lead to a lot of gas. I got some sugar free hard candies and tried one and thought I was going to die of gas pains. Does anyone have some suggestions on what I can try?

For me, hot tea and constant mouthwash helped a lot. Also I keep those little altoids minis in my purse as well as listerine strips. There's not a lot you can do to avoid it, you can only mask it. Constantly.

I have changed my attitude toward the bad breath. I tell myself it's a sign I'm in ketosis and so am losing weight. :)

Talk about bad odors after surgery! I have very bad breath and I apologize in advance but even my stool has a much more stronger odor :/ I blame it on ketosis;

Ha! Yes, I've noticed that the bathroom is a no-fly zone after I've visited it in the morning. It is a bit, erm, pungent.
