Thinning Hair

Anyone else have terrible hair thinning? I'm so self conscious about it and am I'm tears every day. I'm terrified that my students are going to start noticing. I've always had such thick curly hair that it's really noticeable. I'm nearly 4 months post-op right now. I already have been taking my vitamins and biotin supplements since I came home from the hospital. Anything else I can do? This is causing me so much stress, which I know is not helping my situation.

I share your pain. I saw scalp at around six months post banding and have upped my protein and am taking iron and biotin. Am now ten months out and holding steady. No big additional hair loss but no significant improvement either. Gonna see my stylist and discuss next steps.

My hair thinning as well and my hair started at approx two feet long. Sad day when it started going down the drain. :( I had several inches cut off just so I wouldn't have to see my long hair disapperaing. Supposedly it's due to rapid weight loss and will start regrowing when the body adjusts itself to new healthy eating. We will see. In the meantime I try to tell myself it's a small price to pay for my new body.
