Bad Breath, Gross!

Has anyone else experienced bad breath after surgery from all the protein? I'm brushing my teeth 3-5 times a day, but my breath gets so bad so quickly between brushing. I never had this issue before and have no dental issues. If you have had this issue, did it eventually go away?

  • I seen it a few times on here people saying the same. Urine will some times get that way also. I didn't have bad breath but for the first week maybe 2. However I sure smelled like a kitty litter box

  • Is it ketosis?? If I don't get enough calories, my breath gets bad.

  • That's good to know, I'm starting back at the Gym tomorrow. Doc says I'm go to go for cardio, arm and leg strengthening. I'm glad I'm not the only to experience this though, it's been freaking me ou

Mine was ketosis. I'm outta it now unfortunately (and I say that only because ketosis is a mass fat burning mode brought on by low carb, low cal and high Protein diet)

Use this time to get into walking daily or some other form of exercising to help you with the weight loss while your still in it wont last forever. Oh and I've seen people say they kept some kinda breath strips with them :D
